A St Patrick's Day parade will take place in Ireland in March after a two-year absence.
The annual celebration of Ireland's patron saint had moved online over the last two years as the country battled the coronavirus pandemic.

However, following an announcement of the removal of most Covid restrictions, Minister for Tourism Catherine Martin confirmed a physical parade will take place in 2022.

"I can confirm there will be a parade on St Patrick's Day after two years of an absence, we will have a physical parade and actually the department is funding over two million euros in the events for that day and there will be strong online content as well," she said.

"All of this is being worked on, we've been doing contingency plans behind the scenes but we're delighted now that a physical parade will take place and we will announce the details on that shortly."

I'd say there'll be more than one... more like one in every town. The craic will be 90, so it will...
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

I find it quiet paletable on draught the odd time (about 3 or 4 times a year) that I go to the pub.

Druids cider would be my home tipple of choice, the 500ml can at 6% would 'Blow de cap of ya' !
But since the price increase a few weeks ago the can size has gone down to 440ml and the proof down to 4.8%,
which is probably a good thing !!

God knows I bought enough and sold enough of that Lidl/Aldi cheap plonk back in the day and nere ever did a drop pass my lips. The feedback I always got from customers was that the hangover after the cheap plonk was spectacular !

I'm not a wine drinker at all Ken. Heineken,  Guinness or Jack Daniels on occasion is all I drink. But for octy to slag Heineken drinkers and say it makes people stupid is a tad ironic seeing as he only drinks that cheap gick and is most likely the stupidest person on the forum! Keeps me amused though God love him.

When I say cheap plonk what I mean is cheap vodka (Tamova or Rackmaninoff) at 13 Euro per bottle and sell fer 33 with a mixer + delivery (back in the day).

The only decent gargle from a can I have found to be Druids cider or Bud,
I dread the thought of Guinness from a can !

I beg to differ

Also budweiser has to be the worst beer out there, especially from a can. Its absolute muck.
