i reckon i'll be grand.
No, actually I think you won't be grand.
I'm just remembering back about 7 or 8 years ago I left everything till the last minute and after passing NCT the NTA managed to get me an appointment in Waterford just a day before my license expired so I had to drive to Waterford (2 hours) to pass my suitability test or else be hit with a late renewal fee.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings DMG but I reckon you will have to pay the Monkee late renewal fee upfront and then make a refund claim fer the 250 if you happen to pass suitability within the next 10 days.

good news.
my electronic handbrake is bollocksed along with some other gear.
fork out for a brand new one or wait for a second hand one off ebay.
proper repair bill to look forward to.
i can forgerrabow being able to renew it in time.
mechanic reckons the botched brake job is'nt at fault and was coincidental.
i'll havta get her to ring up the nta and say he's no money. he's goin around with holes in his jacket for fuck sake etc.

I did by PM, but sur tis no good now anyway as you won't make NCT and suitability in time.

That electronic handbrake fault on the Avensis is often related to the DPF being full.

I thought NTA abolished late renewal fees on account of the COVID '19 anall?
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.
