To be fair, Watty's usually on the ball with stuff like that.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Or the erm... There's no better man than the erm to tell you how to get stuff for nothing. He put me on to a free ADI licence including training course worth 2.25 large in total and put me wide to the baby PUP (PTSE)... still getting €131.80 free money every Friday with no restriction on earnings.

disconnected the battery for 15 mins and reconnected but the warning lights remained. the nct chap said it's only a visual retest. no charge. i've been driven mad the past few months by this buzzing/vibrating/crackling noise that seems to be comin from the back of the dashboard. when the engine is really working on the motorway that's when it happens. investigating around a month ago i found a single hexagonal bolt just sitting near the engine. what the fuck is that off. it must be rattling around and causing the noise but the noise remained. when i was disconnecting the battry i hadta remove the air filter box to loosen the positive cable and happenned to look at the filter. was'nt sittin properly. there was a sheet of foam from the fuckin box still stuck to the filter. the filter box is bolted down from the inside with 3 hexagonal screws with 1 missing. when the engine is working hard the box is vibrating like fuck and causin the noise. jaysussssssssssssssss

i've noticed all these little cunts that are being broken in by my mechanic the last while.  i'm wondering what the motivation was to attempt to unbolt the air filter box from the inside and then botch putting it back together.

Could have been an old repair to something underneath the airbox and it's only loosening up now.I hate letting anyone near my car.

Just incompetence then.He probably couldn't find the bolt for whatever reason and couldn't be bothered telling you.A lot of mechanics are under pressure and are working on two or three vehicles at a time while they wait for parts.

I dunno but I'm assuming he air filter box needed to be removed for access on a previous repair.
