i know that but my dpf is gone and this is exclusively brake/handbrake fault warnings......
Handbrake fault light and DPF fault lights often come on together fer some strange reason.
I'm having the same issue myself fer the last 5 months, seemingly it's all a DPF problem ??

My Joe gone into Toyota main dealer this morning to finally get it sorted.
I want the DPF either cleaned properly or replaced, shit sick of all the lights on the dash.

Is it still under warranty?
Do they cover the DPF ?

i'd mine removed a few years ago. kept gerrin all the brake and check engine light warnings and the car would go in to limp mode. silly way of warning you because it's confusing. the new avensiseses say clearly dpf full on the dashboard. they usually have a lifespan of around 200,000 kms. when you remove it you'll gerra very strong fume smell owa the exhaust. whatcha wanna do is add a lirrle birra dipetane at every fill up. cost 2 big ones for a brand new dpf.

I've noticed a few heavily armed Garda checkpoints up above in Dublin of late. Put your interior light on as you approach so they can see you're white if all you documents aren't up to date.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Expensive fix if they have to replace it.

This great stuff

Did you not get that fixed a few weeks ago... or did your so-called mechanic just fuck the same stuff you did in the tank and charge you 4 times the price of it?

i folly the school of hermann goering when they were developing the amerika bomber.
1000km/h, 1000 kgs of bombs and 1000 mile radius.
in this case i would'nt buya lectric car unless it hadda range of 1000 kms.

Yea, that seems to be the case constantly, Toyota had me Joe ready in 2 hours on Mon morning, I'm sure that's just another band-aid job.

The wynn's DPF cleaner and the higher grade diesel in circle K help, but I reckon it needs a proper fix ??

You'd think the main stealers would know what they're at. I can read the soot levels in my motor with my €30 (VAG specific) OBD Eleven device. AFAIK, if it doesn't regenerate at 24g and return to <=6g after regeneration the filter is fucked and needs to be replaced, althogh there are specialists who advertise reconditioning. Anyway, I haven't had an issue with mine yet. Hopefully, the bit of motorway driving I subject the motor to will keep it that way.

Are you using the correct grade of engine oil and changing it in accordance with manufacturer recommendations? Our bog standard EN590 diesel is as low sulpher as can be got so I don't see any point in paying more for something that's no better. In fact I bet the "better" stuff is EN590 as well! However, oil quality is apparently relevant to DPF soot levels.

Toyota yesterday turned off all the dash lights (FOC) and gave me a written estimate fer a replacement DPF filter and rocket cover, 2464.77.
I'll talk to my local mechanic tomorrow and see if a clean out from a DPF cleaning company fer about a Trummer might suffice ??
