I put my details into an online scrapper and they offered me only €350.Just used it again using a different county and it offered me €192.Dunno how they calculate it.

Think it was somewhere between €250-300 & they collected it for free.  Other places wanted me to deliver it or they would charge for collection.  Considering it was dead, I only had one choice really.

I think you can keep your old heap under the new rules but you only get half a grant (or something like that).  Could be a handy Valentine's gift for your missus.  Give her the spare wheel from the Prius and tell her she can have the rest of the car in a few months when you're finished with it
