I remember Mrs Dooley sending me and Big Dommo down the shops for 6d worth of Paraffin oil for the heater .Mr Dooley liked it on in the kitchen in the morning before he went to work .Cost you loads more than 6d now to fill a cigarette lighter .

I think Leo has said that the government will consider stepping in on the excise on Fuel.

As yis know with the tax being a percentage of the base price of the fuel the pump price gets moved more than the underlying crude in a compounding effect.....I think.

Prices usually lag behind the crude price so we might have to go a little higher before panic sets in.

Don't forget a lot of the increases are just lads with loads of money speculating.
