Free Now extremely buggy last night
« on: April 10, 2022, 03:45:41 pm »
If I rejected a job - of which there were many - the screen froze. The only way to get back online was to log out and back in again.

So much so, that I ended up doing the lion's share of fares from the street.

This resulted in fares to Ballycullen, Tallaght, Lucan a few times all deadheads i.e empty on the return.

The App worked in the suburbs, but you can't get to the work from the N4.

Free now needs to de-bug fast.

Sheesh!

i've had the same problem for a few months. you don't need to logout out just press the home screen on your blower and then press the app icon again and it unkinks it. the app proper jammed a couple of times last night that necessitated the restart of my phone. i was makin a pickup at the gaa club opposite denis o'mahoneys in kilbarrick there and it fuckin jammed. could'nt press arrived but lucky they were in the carpark as i floated in and they recognised the bulla head on me.  an aulwan in the front and three lamebrains goin over to the dale. was travellin behind an amberlamps cruisin with the blue lights on and i heard one of the greatest things that was ever uttered to me in the car. a moment of genious from beyond. the aulwan in the front had an epiffany and says "ye do see loadsa lights flashin onnid the road these days dontcha." made my night it did.

They're spending all their money on expensive tv and youtube adverts. The more you keep using them the happier they think you are.Turn it off when it's acting the bollox and they'll fix it when the money stops rolling in.

By the way in case you didn't know lads the app is slow because they made a bollox of it when they introduced the medals and priority and ambassador system. It worked alright 10 years ago when it was Hailo.Everything they've added since just slows it down.

I keep getting jobs saying 'passenger cancelled 'then it sends me another one close by.Anytime I drive passed the first job pick up location I see some ambassador wanker taking the job I had.Anyone who put the stickers on their cars only have themselves to blame.

Try Bolt then at least you can decide who to get fukked over by.

What % is cash?

As far as mapping goes, local knowledge always outweighs Google maps, which is usually redundant in the city centre.

If its all on the App I might not have enough cash to fill the tank.

Ah you'll find the odd street job in between to cover ya for juice. There's no advantage getting cash via app for me as it's all recorded in vivid detail on the job reports.

I'm running three apps. You do get used to it.When Freenow decides to pass me by for work for whatever reason the other two usually make up the shortfall. So in a way their screwing themselves by giving some lads preferential treatment over others. The less they keep me moving the more I cover for their competition.

In fact, if I get a Bolt job after I've accepted a freenow job I'll cancel the FN job as the commission is lower and there's usually some bonus in play.Never used to do that but FN have serious competition now.I no longer feel I have to be loyal to them anymore.

It's something but the diesel drivers are the ones who need the discounts on commission the most.Bit of a gimmick.Happy for Watty though.

I translated it in the EV/Hybrid section.
