The Eulogy
« on: May 31, 2022, 08:25:08 am »
Big Dommos brother is dead but none of the family wanted to say a few words at the cremation .So I agreed to do it .

It went :Paul was not just another fella from the flats he had followed his dream .A dream and ambition he first got introduced to through the medium of Film .As a young 8 year old he was taken to the Pictures to see Oliver and he was enthralled by the Burglars and Pickpockets by Fagan and the Artfull Dodger .This was his first introduction to crime .More film crime like the Godfather stoked his passion and Goodfellows and its violence did not frighten him he learned from it as he made his way up the ladder .Nidge and the Lads in Love Hate reflected his life and he understood all the intricacies of how violence and murder could be used by others trying to get to the top in the field of crime .He was aware of all the local crime families, he himself was from a sort of crime family although only he and his younger brother were directly involved the rest of the family are law abiding citizens Today as we lay  Paul to rest  the crematorium is filled with Garda more are outside .A fine tribute to a deceased colleague the late Garda Seargent Paul Mc ****.
