Two gigs yesterday in the Rain .They can walk I would imagine your car would be destroyed . Had two Americans yesterday giving out about Rip off Ireland .They took a Bus tour that was semi cancelled as The Pheno ,Kilmainham and City Center were closed off to traffic .How the fuck can you charge for a non existant City Tour knowing the place was in lockdown .

Add to the mess they cut off all the local bus service by closing off roads as people leave the venue .Wait on the 5 days of Brooks and possible fuel rationing .No hotels No busses ,no taxis ,no parking .No Joke .

Dublin Bus didn't even run a Nitelink last night,probably cos they wouldn't pay the union goin rate or couldn't get the unionised volunteers but there won't be a whisper about that.

Hal The Man who hires casual labour will tell you .The ECB want the cash they loaned European countries back but they do not want Governments to increase taxes to pay it back as that will stunt growth so the idea is to sell off Semi State bodies as in Dublin Bus ,Bus Eireann the CIE rolling stock Dublin airport Toll Roads .The reason that the staff in the airport were let go was to replace them with Yellow Pack workers on 20 hour contracts which do not qualify for pension rights .Dublin Bus will be handing over more of their Public service routes to Go Bus and their Yellow pack drivers .What you are seeing Europe wide is Frustration of the People by Semi State bodies so when Private enterprise buy the Semi State Companies there will be no public outcry .The reason there is no NightLink is because the Government will not pay the Public Service Levy to the Service providers .Did you know Dublin bus might get 100 million a year off the Government to supply a Public Service Bus Service no matter how many customers they have they get the 100 million and they then pay back all the fares they collect to the exchequer .If or when Private enterprise take over the Bus service or airport the government will wash their hands of them ans save on Public service levies and the costs will be passed on to consumers .As in The USA nothing for nothing .Look at your ESB bill the public service levy and a standing charge .Crossing the 50 its now 320 toll it use to be 10P .And we already paid Road tax ?
