What fucking moron decided to build a bike lane for about 50 yards at the top of the Village across from the Sub .Now you only have one moving lane for turning right ,Left or going Straight on .A traffic jammed village is now assured especially if there is a funeral or mass in the church .

In other traffic news .The Five Lamps .Store Street Gards are hunting down bad driving .I was stopped yesterday Gard reckoned I broke a Red Light I disagreed .I said it was Green he then said he would show me as the Traffic units now have a hand held recording device on board .I didnt argue just said You are the expert but I really dont believe it was Red .After a Civil conversation he tells me that crossing on Amber is 80 Euro and 3 points .He also says he has been waiting at that junction for transgressors .He then informs me his device in the car is dodgey and lets me go with a warning .I was talking to another driver who was done for taking the right turn through the Centra and he said he was not the only driver done at that junction .He said there are one or Two locals who have moved back into the area and the Gards are operating a high vision exercise so pulling cars over making some revenue for the exchequer while providing more visible policing kills two birds with the one stone .Take Care .

That's up there with the worst of them,that's a complete melter of a thing to do,they literally don't give a toss about cars anymore(just want their revenue off them)

Dont think anybody thought about Ambulance access .If there is a barricade of plastic posts you cannot pull over to make way for emergency services .

No ….I have not gone that way in a while. I agree that you have to wonder how decisions like that,get past the planning stage.
