As I sit here after watching the rugby with the Chillmax blowing cool (not hot dry) air over my lower torso (not ears or eyes) it is very relaxing and when I head fer bed at about noon, I place it on a chair at the end of my bed fer a good days snooze ! Best 50 quid that I ever spent !

I invested long ago in Thermal Glass keeps the Gaff warm in winter but cool in Summer .

Ok you get into a pool of water increase the tempeture by a few degrees you get warmer decrease it you get colder .Minus 17 your dead +17 you are nice and comfy because humans are designed to live in heat .One Sweaty Red Head dosent disprove the theory .

I bought 3 tower fans in b and q Ken, 51 snots each. I gave one to me ma, she's delighted.  The air is actually quite cool coming out and it's very quite without all the need for fluting around with water like your contraption.

It's all 'Kool and the gang' at the moment Horse while it's just about 20%, but wait till the mercury hits 30%+ next Monday or Tuesday and the tower fans are just blowing hot dry air.

As fer 'Fluting around with water', you add a half liter of cold water every 8 hours !!

As the air gets sucked in Ken and blown back out as it speeds up it actually gets cooler, a lot cooler than the original temperature before it went through this electrical genius of a design. Much better than your jalopy.
