No room at the Inn...Dublin farce.

I picked up a Canadian couple from the Darndale Hilton last night. They were on a 12-hour stopover having spent a beautiful week on the picturesque Greek island of Santorini.

There were no rooms at the Darndale Hilton but were told to try the Clayton up at Clonshaugh. I drove them there and the guy asked me to wait. He was told they were full, but to try the Holiday Inn across the way, the same thing, only they were full of asylum seekers and refugees.

I then brought them to the Crowne Brazzer in Northwood and the Holiday Inn Express, they were also full of asylum seekers and refugees.

Their phones were iPhones and were dead so I lent them mine. They booked Jury's Inn on Parnell street and I brought them there, the hotel didn't get the online booking and was full, as was the Point A one next door.

They said O.K. back to the airport and an eight-hour wait to check in and a further three hours to take off.

I'd hate to be a culchie or C&W fan staying in Dublin this weekend. Talk about cowboys!

Picked up a woman in fairview yesterday.....ther was a homeless bloke Hutchin on the ground ...she said she asked him did he need an ambulance....   he declined ...he was sittin / squatin an cudnt get up ... i recognised him ....he was a guy used
Work in me job as a labourer..I've seen him a few times in fairview ...he was alot younger than me but he looks old and obviously his health is gone ..a more  nicer , hardworking  honest quiet spoken yungfellow yud never meet ....can't understand wat went wrong but nobody gave a fuk him stuck ther in the rain ...anyway wen I drove back after I dropped her off ..cudnt see him ...
On the radio yesterday the immigrant council wer on about refugees bean homeless in Dublin City center ......the system can't  cope ....wer full up ...students tslkin of camping on campus ...hotels full of  refugees and the country is facing a bleak winter wer many will struggle to pay rent ...
It's a recipe for absolute disaster ...they need to stop the madness now and close entry because ther has to be a limit and its obvious we already have done

Had a fella today said his mate was in Belgium recently and broke his phone. He brought it to a phone shop and says to yer man I think its fcuked,  can you give me a new phone. Next minute yer man loses the plot and starts smashing your man's phone against the counter, shouting I'm sick of this or some shite like that. Yer man says to him, are you OK,  everything alright? The shop guy asks him are you Ukrainian? Yer man says, no I'm irish.  The chap then explained that he's had nothing but refugees in his shop looking for new phones. Except they don't pay for them. The Belgium government does but yer man has to wait god only knows how long to get paid. Is that the case here, do they get free phones?

No hotels rooms, no houses, no ambulances none of which has anything to do with immigrants or refugees.
It has everything to do with successive Governments policy.

Plenty of hotel rooms if you're willing to pay eye watering prices,most hotels are being paid handsomely for housing refugees,Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn in Santry won't let you in the front doors these days to take a piss but we're good enough when they want those same refugees brought to private consultant appointments on Eccles St.

When Friends in Low places goes home it will quiten down Hotels will be closing again due to high Fuel Bills and Pubs with no Covid Coin to keep them open will close for ever .Cunts running Hotels are milking it while they can same with Pubs more to fill a porter belly than a Fuel tank .
