2 undersea internet cables in Europe have been severed in the last week.  The line from mainland UK to Shetland was cut and an internet connection off the south coast of France was cut as well.  All accidental, of course, & nothing to do with Russian submarines.  I think the authorities are blaming the fishermen who dredge the seafloor when they fish.
