Free taxis for the Ukrainian refugees
« on: October 04, 2022, 10:37:00 am »
I was chatting to some Ukrainian refugees lately in the taxi. Some of them have been put in the middle of nowhere, places where there is only 1 bus passing a day. As far as I know they have free travel on busses and trains etc but I think they should be given free travel in taxis as well (paid by the Irish government) if living in remote areas. just enough to get them to a local town.

If the Government are going to take them in, they may as well look after them properly.

Anyone know who to contact in Government to suggest this?

Sure the walking would be good for them. Would save the Govt having to buy them Gym membership?

(I'll get my coat...)

Yeah, I heard they eat Xmas dinner on Xmas eve and not on Xmas day.  Dirty feckers coming over here corrupting our traditions  >:(  Probably don't even eat turkey either.

it seems to be happening already, what would you expect though from some Irish people, selfish fcukers who only think of themselves.

Crying bastards who say "We should look after our own" -  then complain that a family of twelve travellers have been moved in next door.

Manila, I was there in 2000.
I was never in Bnei Brak, Israel. Although my Dad was stationed in Haifa.
