I think taxi1990 says this guy only takes people he knows so he wouldn't pick up a randomer.

I'm the same at the airport.  If I see someone over 50 with a beer belly and mustache hailing me, I just think "NTA inspector" and keep going  lol

He is cagey about who he brings, its regular customers or friends of regular customers. He definitely isn't an under cover Guard.

I will go to the National papers, joe duffy etc if they don't nab him soon, they just keep telling me they are working on something but like how long does it take?

Undercover Gardai use licensed taxis, allegedly. I can't remember the exact format but a bloke I wouldn't have down as a bullshitter told me there's a handful of them nationwide (presumably in the big cities where they wouldn't be noticed) readily identifiable through an odd format of badge number.

Thankfully they obviously have no interest in tackling the illicit drugs trade or anyone working for Free Now in the Northside suburbs up above in Dublin would be out of business.

If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

That is very smart of them if they do. This guy doesnt have any taxi branding or anything like that, he is not far off a criminal really so he definitely not a cop.

1990 you need to wait until things go quiet then everyone will be complaining about this driver. At the moment the cops would rather have the streets emptied by an illegal operator than have folks hanging around town punching the head off each other.

This guy is in my opinion a danger to drunk women (I have a reason for saying this), I have told the NTA about this as well.

Let it go 1990, he not stealing your business, and the business he does have you probably don't want.

True but he is stealing some of my business. also if he ever attacks a drunk female, thats on the NTA, I warned them about him a few months back. The only way he will stop is when he is carried out in a box.

I'd agree with SB on this, you seem like a shy type 1990 "shouting from the back of the class-room". If'n ya really want this fella caught then you will need to identify both yourself and himself to the Gardai and NTA when making a complaint, but I doubt you will do that.
