This year MMW I was actually doing a bit of work on the off chance that I needed to replace my heap in April 2023.As soon as they said age extensions for all I completley lost interest and never really got back into the car. I put enough aside to cover me so just said fuk it.I'm gonna spend all me new car money on a cruise.I do have lower overheads than most.

I half-joke with my passengers that I like Christmas because it's the one time in the year when all your family have to be nice to each other.  So I'd rather spend the time with them instead of earning money off random strangers. 

It's one day in the year- spend it with your family or friends    You can work all you want the other 364 days.

I took the owners advice in here {JM] and got a real job ,Mon-Fri , 40 hrs a week ,overtime there if wanted -Driving the shite out a company   Merc sprinter on me country route  ,dropping a few boxs ect . [piece off piss ]21  days paid holidays ,5 sick days allowed .My Plate Rented out ,i dont intent to return .Happy Christmas and stay safe ...

I have to do 2 trips, I don't want to though, not doing it for the money.

I know a taxi driver though, if it was busy 365 nights of the year, he would be working all them nights.

I took Xmas eve off fer all the family stuff and worked Chrimbo day on tariff 3 + FN Bobo.
Nothing at all to write home about, I did a split shift 12 noon to 3pm and 5pm to 11pm covering barely just over 2 jobs per hour.
It only picked up at 9pm, but by then I nearly had my time done and Bobo secured.
It was easily a Tenner per hour down on any weekend night.
