The Govt reduced the excise charge on fuel by something like 20% in summer 2022 - they could reintroduce that at any moment.

@ Belker - everything you wrote is about money.  Remember a dead man's shroud has no pockets.  You should stop obsessing about money and FN bonuses.  There's a good chance you'll be happier.  We certainly will be  :P  :P  :P
Yes Watty, because this is mainly what this forum is about......... making money !
As in the first line of your reply !!

As fer Chrimbo, personally I prob had the best family one ever, but I not gonna post that story on here fer all the mongs to pick holes in it.

.......  ... 'm probly kens biggest critic as regards his penny pinchin...particularly his blind allegiance to fleenow ....but he's generous to a fault an a big heart   ..
Separation can do tings to ya  ...specially wen yu go tru the family court bollix an they tell ya to pay for yur ex an kids house an yur own accommodation or yull be fuked in a cell even in a recession..or  the alternative is homelessness...unless yuv bean ther sort o ting ....
Sometimes I wish I was more like Ken.....but I gave up yers ago ...Ken didn't
I would agree Octy, when it comes to online penny-pinching on Tesco clubcards, Circle K offers and online Bookie offers then I am the best/worst at it, the FN ambassador program is a bit of a Gravy Train but we won't go there.
That's my online life which I often share on here in the hope that some other Taxi drivers might make/save a few quid. My real life profile is quite different.

P.S. Thanks fer the Hug by the Spire last week !

You be always welcome down South Octy, we actually have pubs (unlike Fookin Dooblin) that have beer ! (Fookin Weatherspoons ! whose idea was that ?).

I'm sure Korky be up fer a few scoops when yiz call, as fer West Cork I would suggest Baltimore and stay at the Algiers Inn,  the place really is steeped in history, might get your painting appetite going again when you hear the tales from the 1600's.

100% ken, there's nowhere finer and I've fished in almost ever corner in Ireland but Baltimore is like a magnet to me, I'd gladly retire down that neck of the woods

Did you have a look at the history of Baltimore El Tonio ?

The Barbary pirates from North Africa landed there in the 1600's and took a few hundred Irish slaves away.
Hence why the local Inn is called the Algiers.
