Iarnród Éireann is seeking to hire up to 80 new train drivers, according to a new recruitment campaign launched today.They new roles will be based in locations including Dublin (DART, Connolly and Heuston), Cork, Limerick, Galway, Portlaoise and Waterford.The company is urging more women to consider applying for the new roles, with an increasing number in recent trainee classes.It has also highlighted the diverse range of previous careers from which recent driver recruits have come from, including “from banking to airlines, to defence forces to archaeology and much more.”
