All the Electricity fell out of my Phone .Working Monday and it went blank no power left in it .Recharged it and it drained in about 6 hours .Can the same happen to Vehicle Batteries in hot weather .I wonder if I cooked the battery as the phone was in a cradle on the Window ?7 phones in the drawer at home all have dodgey batteries ?

Car batteries are mostly liquid cooled. In summer I put my air con on and the phone cools as it's on the vent.

Mine shut down 'cos it got too hot over the weekend. There was a notification to that effect when I switched it back on so I kept it on the ashtray, out of the sun, for a while. Must drive the day men nuts in the summer!

Might do that next time but I tend not to use the AC too much sine someone told me it's bad for my lungs... although 40 smokes a day can't be great for them!

I stick a sheet of white cardboard behind it to deflect the heat .I like it just in front of me to my left where customers cannot grab it .

Another idea is to leave the gaff on a nearly full phone battery so you don't have to charge it which produces heat also.
Cheap Chinese phone every two years is probably the only answer.

Possibly in the evening... First job to Dublin was a drop at DAP at 19:08, followed by another DAP drop at 19:18 (from Airways Ind Est)... so woulda been after that.
