Can you see if it’s a cash or account job when you accept it ?
Thought you had to press arrived first before you can see it.

Why accept a job and then cancel it ?
A lot of drivers cancel jobs if they get a flagdown on the way to a job, personally I don't do that.
Also a lot of drivers cancel jobs at jungle hours if after accepting they turn out to be Cash jobs,
that I sometimes do because Cash fares by night very often cancel or are ordered fer drunk mates or whatever.
With an account job you have an insured payment.

I have no idea what its like working in a city but is there not another way to work? as in set up a website, hand out cards? I was out in Dublin before christmas, we were looking for a taxi from a house party around 7 am, we were messing around asking who had freenow, thinking do we have to set it up now just to get a taxi, it would be handier to just google a taxi company near by. some randomer had to order a freenow taxi from their app for us in the end.

With Me trying to be sensible like with this topic and discuss it with our peers,
and then You and Octy just firing outrageous ludicrous comments killing the topic.

Once you have accepted the job, you can swipe up the screen before arriving or pressing Arrived,
if it sez Account job then it's on account, if it has nothing listed fer payment option then it's cash.

Differs sometimes on Pre-books and Reserve/Courier jobs, but they are 99% account.

I can only speak fer Cork city, but that is the way it has gone, even fer myself with all my mates as Taxi drivers if'n I'm going anywhere and need a Taxi then it's FN that I use, no messing, you see your driver in real time. I know that if I was to ring a mate they would look after me but even if I paid them generousely I would still be taking from their earning as they are all busy all the time.

As fer setting up websites and handing out cards ? Why bother, most of us do less than 40 hours a week, so the customer has a 1 in 4 chance of getting you, and when they do ring most likely it will be 'Jungle hours' when you don't want them.

Your constantly pointing out how much you love freenow ( arse lick) annoys me ken .......as for "everyone else".... most dropped out of here  yers ago way before you started being freenows mouthpiece.... and before I started criticism of fn ....I said it yers ago again an again ther not to be trusted ...and so did others on here....rat  whom you mentioned has criticised ther overcharging the customers on a number of occasions with this " technology charge " and I completly agree wit him and" everyone else "  who has said that 15% commission is extortion ....but wer stuck wit them because they basically hijacked hailo ( which revolutionised the business and did it fairly and reasonably imho )and freenow almost have a monopoly on the app business which is crucial to operate a taxi imho....
... as i said your totally focused on self interest ...yur incapable of looking beyond yur next "trummer" or bummer or watever the fuk yu call it and you blindly promote them on here ....I've said it yers ago aswell ther priority systems and yur stickers all over your property that you openly embrace and promote is unfair competition in the workplace but you and blokes like you are responsible for that shit continuing ....
Because your greedy,    self centered and small minded .....you can criticise other posters who disagree with you ....but to come on here and say " your annoyed "
Is pitiful Ken....if you want to criticise me or anyone else critiquing freenow your
Totally within your rites to do that but you better come out with a good fuking argument why they are wrong ....
You do not have a rite to  censorship  of others wh8ch is wat yur trying now just because it disagrees with you and yur friends in freenows office ....
I and others have the right to criticise anyone we like and if it gets you " annoyed " ....then that's yur problem ....
Another thing Ken....this summer I'm making more off of uber than I am freenow .....I'm glad that thers competition
But I don't fukin like uber here neither or bolt or any of them ......
I'll repeat meself again because use yu dont give a fiddlers fuk about anyone elses views if it goes against yurs ...and I've bean saying it fir yers on here too .....
Ther shud be one app in ireland and it shud be government operated and it shud be fair in work distribution ie nearest car gets the job .....
Of course ther will be blokes who say that
The tax man will know all bout ther earnings and stupid shit .....I've news for them he already knows wat yur earning ....
And freenow or uber are telling them if  ther asked so wake  up .....we will be cashless in a yer or 2 and are almost ther already only recently having to accept card by law .....
Ther are big changes coming ...you have argued before that yull milk the present system for yur own benefits as long as its operating ....that's yur way ...I don't think like that ...you and me are about as different as chalk and cheese... ...I've seen this country and its citizens being raped and sodomised by foreign banks and companies for years  and them fuking gangsters in Brussels and I and you are sick of me saying it over and over again ....
The people of this country that was and is being sold by Leo the cunt and his cunt friends are not getting richer ...they are getting poorer because ther rights and properties and freedoms are being  sold and controlled by external non national entities that  are corrupt and absolutely destroying this country for future generations to come ......

If that " annoys you " ....then don't read it ...

Well you might be as good as to answer the query below ?
So far you have avoided the issue with only a wishy-washy council trash reply !

........ I complained wen I got a runner to them fukers ....an asked for ther cooperation in revealing the apes details so I cud pursue it wit guardai ( I knew the cnuts wudny but I put it up to tye cnuts ) an they told me under gdpr or sumtin they not allowed an basically told me to  rite fuck off wit meself ...... ....
That is not true Octy, if you had done it properly like you stated, firstly you would have reported it to FN an that is the reply you would have got also stating that if you wish to pursue it with the Gardai then they would provide the Gardai with any help required.
But you didn't, you just went off on a rant never bothering to contact Gardai and with the vain hope that FN would give you the runner's phone number so as you could roar some abuse down the phone line at them.
FN don't give customers phone numbers to drivers under any circumstances and on looking at some of the nut-jobs on here using it (Octy especially) I reckon that is a pretty good policy.

I told you all back on Roys what would happen WORKCAPTURE .Free Now own the Work .I cancel 3 or four jobs a shift .Yesterday I took a job off Spencer Dock to Dunlaoighre but it turned out to be Spencer Dock to somewhere else so I threw it back .The problem is when you hit the accept button it can rapidly change to a different Job .I have never been Silver on Free Now .I work 4 or 5 hour shifts when the streets are busy no real need for the app .Yesterday I was in Ticknock,Clare hall,Blanchardstown and Celbridge all from city center and all of the Streets or Ranks .Cant remember the last time I took an app job after 11Pm .Ken I could work Dublin 8,10,12 never go near the city never use an app and get wages .Im sure Pony knows his plot as well no need for apps .

Ken business costs are about 40% so you get a tenner fare take your business costs out of that .You trouser 6 euro but Free now take 150 of the Tenner that is 25% of your earnings .Al Capone didnt demand that much for your kneecaps .Apps are a false economy .Earn less EARN more by not using them .

No, you have Not answered the query Octy, you made several pathetic efforts to dodge the question, mostly attacking both myself and FN in a vain effort to exonerate yourself. Are you going to 'Man up' and answer it now or Dodge again ?
