Some movies are just made for a big screen. And with a good soundbar it really makes for a good viewing experience.  Anytime I'm down in me ma's house now her tv looks like a portable and that's a 42". Once you go large you'll never go back.

i don't think i've turned my telly on in around 5 years.
the only time i did was to watch football.
i've gone totally off football and ireland are fuckin shite.
i watch all my gear on my phone.

I have a small TV and a free to air contract but almost never turn it on, last time was to watch a world cup footie game last Dec and that was just because I had a financial interest in the game and was waiting fer me cab to be ready from mechanic.

I watch a birra netflix on the PC, but never bother with the TV, I doubt that I'm missing anything !

I've a 65" at the foot of me bed, all the channels,  even the natgeo usa. I pay me poxy TV license and me Internet so that's that.

Telly is for wen yur done....telly is wen yur sittin In yur nappie in an old folks home bereft of hope an wen the only ting to look forward to is death .....the end of sufferin ....the departure lounge  sort o ting ....the bigger the telly ....the bigger the worry for you horse ...again I say wit absolute conviction .......

In practical terms and in humans understanding....
That means as I declared earlier...TV is death
Because you as a system....are not involved in energy transfer  whilst watchin the telly ( notwithstanding that " rest " is the opposition of work and must exist ) ...therefore yu as a system begin to rot ....
