drug dealers. i chauffered them around the kip facilating drug deals.
kept my mouth shut and said nothing. was tipped heavily each time. I'm a thick cunt and it took me till about the tenth occasion to realise they were'nt tips but they were buying me. i says if they tell me what they're doing or if i hear any mention of violence than that's my exit from this bollocks. i was in ballyscum one night and wunna them got out to do their deal and i was chattin to the other cunt. in one breath he says we think there's a rat in our crew and then he says incidentally about that package in the boot. if we were stopped by the guards we'd tell them that was ours. that's very nice of ye. deleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet their number i did. about a year later i pick up a couple and your man goes oh i remember you. you usta drive Preston and Troy or what ever their fuckin names were. they're in spain now. was your gaff raided by the guards as well he says...

why would your house be raided?

also you weren't facilitating drug deals, you were just driving them places like with all customers, its not your problem what they were up to.

if you drive some married man to his mistresses house once a week, would you expect his wife to come looking for you when she finds out?

if the Garda thought you were aware that your passenger was dealing from your vehicle you could be charged with having for sale or supply .The courts would take the evidence of the Garda might be hard to convinge the Judge that you were unaware considering you work the streets and post on here .Keep telling you all about posting your business on here .THIS IS A PUBLIC FORUM .

If the house is under surveillance and your cab is seen turning repeatedly, it would be easy to infer that you knew the nature of the job.

A lot of taxis get caught up in the drugs trade, and one we know of was even allowed to carry on working after being caught with, or on drugs in the airport we hear.

Here's an example - not an exact example - but the Super's opinion carries a lot of weight in the courts.  Taxi driver jailed after becoming drugs courier to pay son's debt to dealers refused PSV license  Sligo taxi driver got 3 years jail for being a drug courier.  After jail, he tried to get his licence back.  Super said no and the judge agreed.




I believe a Superintendent's opinion can be used to jail IRA men and seize money from the drugs barons.  All on his/her opinion.

i was asked loadsa times during the shamdemic if i'd collect gear and drop it from point A to point B.

I reckon you'd be on safer ground with brothels because I believe they only last a week or two before they move on.  And nowadays with Tinder etc, there are people who meet for free sex.  In contrast, drug dealers have their own patch or, in my area, some deal from their own houses.

Picture this:
You drop a guy off at a house who is filmed receiving a package. (keys) as they call drugs these days.
He gets back into your car and you drop him back at the pick-up point.

The Gardai sees you do this a number of times. When your car is stopped and searched - even worse - impounded, you tell them you hadn't a clue that the guy smelling like Mary Warner's lovechild was a dealer, plus the fact the contraband is in YOUR car, they won't need a superintendents opinion to put you in a whole world of pain.

I suppose you could mitigate down by telling them you know a guy who does taxi work for cash without a licence...I think they'd trade off!!
