gorra letter sayin my nct expires in 2 days.
completely took my eye off the ball.
tried to organise an nct and the earliest is three weeks away.
they're still backed up on account of the shamdemic.
if i book an appointment in and havva copy in the glovebox will i be alright if i encounter the old bill je reckon.

Doubt you would have anything to worry about. If you need an earlier date ask them for a different NCT center. I had my suitable a while back, best date they could give me was 2 weeks in North Point, got a date in Athlone for 3 days instead. NCT Centre in Athlone was empty.

i know i never boddered changin the tax disc to a taxi.

Congrats.

But they say they're going to card only for payment because thousands of people are not showing up for their tests & that's why there's big delays.  You think they'd have some sort of walk-in service for people like yourself to fill those empty slots?

You can do both at the moment afaik.  They're going cashless at the end of the year, assuming the Govt lets them do it.

Apparently they can,if you pay before the act the supplier can stipulate cash only,if you're paying after the fact they must accept cash.

The missus booked her Focus(NCT expired in May) got a date for next Jan but she changed her car middle of July....she had to pay upfront...NCT'd it last night as it's sold.

Nothing yet Doc...had a phonecall from the nephew on Mon...apparently he's in hiding,his tow truck was burned out over the weekend,the story is he sold cars belonging to certain people and kept the funds...I hope he dies screaming!!
