Culture night was good, held a very decent treble top ph average all night.

Granted I did get one great hour about 1.30am, picked up a couple on the Mall going northside, they changed their minds and went to a lap-dancing club, only €8 n odd on the meter but yer-man-o gives me €15 in cash and then I get the Tenner Bobo from the Club in cash.
Back to the Mall and see a punter get refused in front of me, I slow and he shouts; "I'll give ya a Score to bring us to the Dean hotel", It's less than a KM away so I take them, his mate is bragging that in Limerick he can order a Taxi to deliver gatt anytime day or night which is kinda pissing me off, anyway the main customer pays his Score as promised and I make another €17 profit in looking after his mate, all cash.
My phone rings fer a private job thankfully close by, Good customer/Tipper, pays a Nifty cash fer a €28 fare to Carrigaline.
All done and dusted in 50 mins with just the M8 short of treble tops, it takes me 10 mins (App off) to get back to the city.

Its dying a death .You need to go on line for a ticket .It use to be fun when you had no idea where you would get in .You can go to St Patricks or Christchurch any Sunday during Service look around and leave .If you wouldnt pay in to some kip you didnt really want to see it .A lot of places opted out .They dont want to pay staff overtime to stay open .If we are talking real Culture why did the Abbey not put on a Stabbing or a group of kids downing Vodka and Kebabs until they puked or a Bloke beating up his bird .If Culture was REALLY what it was about how come wh did not have a Flood lit GAA match in Croaker .For Culture read Gat the Garglers out of the Gaff and into town .Its an elaborate Advertising programme for the Pre Christmas shoppers to see Switsers and Pennys sales offerings and locate a Cafe for the Crimbo parTTTTTAAAAH .

As seemingly you don't work nights then I'm taking it that it's just pure speculation or guesswork on your behalf, or maybe a memory from distant years when things were a lot different pre-Covid ??

Or more likely your just having another Free rant at those above your class fer no particular reason ?

I don't do nights but I'd be wary of once-off special events like this.  It could be a bit like the Annual Company Xmas dinner where people get drunk on beer, wine & whiskey and get their once-a-year taxi home.  Of course, they puke all over your nice leatherette seats and then you have to explain forcefully about the soilage fee.

You'd worry that people would start acting like children.  They'd be real excited about coming into town for the first time this year, their first night of drinking since the nephew's communion and now they're in a taxi with 6 pints of Guinness on them.  Recipe for disaster, imho!
Getting old is compulsory whilst growing up is voluntary.

Ireland wins by beating the Springboks, fill yer boots. I'd a fiver on either team winning between 1-5, @2-1 returning €15.00.

Shamefull Fucking carry on .I hope they are beaten the disloyal Pricks .So The International Rugby Board do not recognise the Republic of Ireland as a Team only Ireland so we cannot play our National Anthem .Your tax dollor has subsidise Irish Rugby paid for the Aviva .But the Posh Lads dont give any fuck about that .These Cunts do not represent Me .Imagine on a Final day against Anybody we miss out on this .

Where British Soldiers murdered Irish men but we had the Class to respect their anthem .

A united team helping on the road to a United country in the not too distant future I hope, better than this "le gunnaí scréach, trí lámhach na bpiléar,".

And don't you just have to love Americans.

Dont Know Robbie .We have Four Provances in the Heiniken they make up the IRISH teams .So they represent IRELAND .In Britain Welsh ,Scottish and English teams make up the British teams each then have their own NATIONAL Anthems but is Wales actually a Country or just a Princapality yet they can have their own Anthem. If wales can have a team then Why not Northren Ireland .You play for Ireland you stand for OUR Anthem not another Appeasement of Northern Unionisim .We say we are Democrats as in the Majority prevails and the Minority goes into opposition but we are pandering to a Minority .Your Northren Prod closed down their Dail to prevent an Irish Language act because they would not pander to the Nationalist Minority  .The Gay lad looking for the Republican Vote said he sees a United Ireland in his lifetime well he must be thinking of living to be two hundred .No right minded Southrener would want any part of that nut house .

Just Common decency You pull on the Irish Jersey you stand for our Anthem .Millions of Irish tax payers coin gone into the Aviva and Grass Roots Rugby .I wonder will NZ be allowed to Hakka as well as have a National Anthem ?

The New Zealand All Blacks may have suffered a 27-13 loss to France in their opening match of the Rugby World Cup, but they made a big statement with a key change to the world-famous haka.

The haka's history dates back centuries, with Maori tribes using it as both a war dance and a ceremonial ritual to showcase their unity and strength.

Today, the haka holds immense cultural significance, symbolising honour, respect and identity among the Maori people.

So NZ can both Hakka a salute to their Maori MINORITY and have an ANTHEM .? WE should refuse to take the field simple as .
