Wheelchair Grant
« on: December 17, 2023, 11:51:18 am »
Going to try to get this early in the new year.

for anyone who got it early last year, if it is available on 1st of January and I apply that day, when should I get an answer from NTA about if I was successful? my NCT is up end of January.

I know, yes I can source one. You are right, the grant will probably be cancelled out by the seller asking crazy money as he knows the grants are available. Typical Ireland.

1990 You are in Far Far Down the Country .Have you considered a Mini Bus 8 seater Local Hack with a School run and local bookings .I posted up here a few weeks ago A restauranteur In Dublin Temple Bar told me he has 60 days credit line but will fold after Christmas as the Christmas trade is Bolloxed .Article today in the Papers saying the Same .In January the Minimum Wage goes up by 1.40 an hour tens of thousands of low paid casual workers will be let go .From Bar staff to Mc Donalds coffee shops Girls doing a bit of cleaning .Leo and Mick from Cork are trying to buy votes but rural Ireland low paid workers will suffer .I was talking to a mate of mine owns a leg in a racehorse .Trainer told him to move the Horse he is going out of Business cannot pay the wages and Compete against Mullins and Elliott .He recons at least 2000 stable staff countrywide will be out of work .In some rural villages the Local trainer is the only work available .But consider the knock on lads who collect Horse Shit ,supply feed ,Vets ,Transport on race days .Lad raking the gallops .I would not borrow more than you can comfortably repay .The 2008 crash was international this one is self inflicted by Sodomites to attack Socialists .I would of said Ireland would always protest to the Left of Politics but Young and Older People feel let down and that is a dangerous combo .

No horse industry where I live.

I won't be borrowing to buy but I need to buy as my taxi is on its last legs.

I was never interested in school runs, don't like being tied to something ongoing like that, might get a 7 seater though.

I must ask him what do you do with an old wheelchair taxi when you replace it. I was going to donate it to Ukraine but it could get someone killed if limp mode comes on while they are trying to escape from the Russians.

Maybe a more tenable risk for the Palestinians?
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.
