Where do you find your personal number for referencing anything you do with the taxi thingey ?

If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Probably. Last time I booked my LRA I used either the cordless phone attached to the landline or my mobile telephone (can't remember which) while in my study with the Mac on... and all went reasonably smoothly, just a short wait for the relevant email to make it's way through the fibre optic "wiring". In fact it arrived in duplicate within a minute or two.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

It's on the top of your LRA appointment letter. It starts with your name initials JMG00***. It will also be wherever you wrote it down, in a safe place, so that you would always have access to it, and not have to ask people where it is, because, in the future the nasty people in the NTA may not talk to you without it.

I thought the stupid thing was supposed to speed up the verification process but they still ask all the other questions they used to so there's no advantage to using it from what I can see.
