Wouldn't it be gas if the GardaI said they had sent a file to the DPP, and the DPP decided no further action should be taken? 8)

Most seats in next General election;

My bet would be Fianna Fail @ 11/4.

FG, Leo + Simon, Etc,  all jumped ship, Why ??

SF, Mary Lou can't help but to shoot herself in the foot,
She had it all, but Fooked it up !

And to top it all up, the Greatest 'Magpie' of all time,
John m has bet on FG.

As I'm happily retired from the Gambling game TOTALLY after my last 'Coup' on the Rugby world cup last year.

The one bet that I would fancy would be FF to gain most seats in next GE @ 11/4.
Both FG and SF have made a Bollix of themselves these past few years while FF looked on, 'Waiting in the long grass' !

Havent looked at all the Constituencies but FF should get a seat in Dublin South Central and Dublin south West Fg get one Dublin Bay South .11/4 is a sporting wager .You couldnt have a bet in Irish or Us elections both are basket cases .I wonder who the Russian Spy in the Dail is ?If that comes out then anything could happen .

Who really cares ??  They will just be replacing one set of Suits with another set of Suits, nothing will change.
Unless SF get an unlikely overall majority and Fook up the whole show.

The Irish civil servants run this country and ADVISE whomever is in power what to do, which they then do in order to keep their lucrative job + pension.

The last 'Ball'sy' decision that I remember made by a Gov minister was by Micheál Martin in 2004 when he introduced the Smoking ban, it was vehemently oppossed by the hoteliers and the vintners but he stuck to his guns and it got passed, not only did it get passed but many other countries followed suit.

Since then it's been 'Nod and Smile', 'Keep your job, Keep your Pension', Stay under the Social Media Radar' !

Civil servants run this country (and most others).  I strongly suggest you watch 'Yes, Minister.'  It's as true today as it was 40-odd years ago.

Largest party after next general election Sf or FG .Looking at the numbers Where will SF get transfers to grab all the extra seats .FG will get transfers from FF .Loads of independents going to fuck up the Shinner first prefrence vote probably putting the second Shinner to far behind to catch up on the FF or FG candidate especially in Dublin .FG are 4/1 to win the most seats .Looks like a sporting wager in a two horse race .

They are generally about 4/6 now John m, you might actually eventually post a 'Winner' prior to the result.

You must be the greatest Clock-stopper of all time John m, you got on at 4/1, then they shortened down to an amazing low of 4/6, and then drifted back out to 10/3 the day before the election.
I didn't bet on FF, so I hope you still win a few quid !   ::cheers
