Europa League final will see 30,000 fans arriving at Dublin Airport

Quote
Dublin Airport is set to welcome up to 30,000 football fans ahead of the Europa League final in Dublin on Wednesday evening.

Around 20,000 fans of the two finalists - Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen - are set to fly into Dublin Airport over the coming 48 hours, with a further 10,000 attendees also expected to arrive for the showpiece event from more than 20 countries around the world.

Don't tell the keshies but...

Free transport into Dublin city centre is also being provided to fans of both teams from dedicated fan areas at Dublin Airport.

Was up there this afternoon for personal stuff.  Huge amount of Gardai standing around on duty.  Some of them were so small, you'd be tempted to rest your pint on their hat  :P

Don't cry for us keshies....
The NTA free shuttle bus provided for match ticket holders will cease at 19:00 tonight until 07:00 tomorrow so with 10 thousand passengers due in tonight between 22.00 – 02:00 we expect high demand throughout the night and early morning.

Do you know the prick working from the Kesh who has a doctor's note precluding him from using the port tunnel into North Wall Quay? Feigning claustrophobia we hear.
