I knew who it was but could not say as the girls would be recognised according to the Judge .Listened to loads of people in the car telling me he was Black .

Raymond Shorten (50) of Melrose Crescent, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 was found guilty of two counts of rape and one of anal rape by a jury at the Central Criminal Court today.

The jury returned guilty verdicts on all counts after a total of 76 minutes of deliberation. They started their deliberations yesterday afternoon.

Shorten had pleaded not guilty to the rape and anal rape of a 19-year-old woman on June 9, 2022 and to the rape of another woman, then aged 20, a couple of months later on August 9.

The prosecution's case was that each young woman found themselves in a taxi after a night out socialising in Dublin city centre where each was raped by the driver, Shorten.

There was talk around Clondalkin about who it was .I would not be surprised if one or two others come out of the woodwork saying they were assaulted .He sounds like a Predator .I wonder will he lose his Licence ?

Dont think much of the defence .Who said the girls could not remember if they consented or not as they were out of it so his client should get the benifit of the doubt .Plenty of legal precedent on Consent .Two rapes in Clondalkin in the last few years one girl pulled off a bike after going to garage for smokes and another just round the corner from where this creep lived .I doubt there are just these two cases he probably got away with others ..You couldnt be that confident if you were a novice Nonce .

OCCI he waited outside one house for the girl to get him money .Thats a Phyco .I would not be surprised if the Judge gives him a life sentence .He sounds like a dangerous Phyco .Lot of really strange stuff came out in court .

Octavius,I'm a 6ft 3in hunk of man with devastating looks,in my nights life of doing this all I ever got was an approach from a tranny and a couple of obviously gay blokes,the guy is a spoofin khunt.

Not saying it's impossible to get approached by a decent looking bird but by an 19 and 20 year old in close proximity is absolute boloxology.

I was tinkin that maybe they wer compelled by the courts because the irish police found them tru phone records....but even that wud not make sense....surely they wud be compelled for the prosecution for other reasons?
Maybe the journalist was pissed ....it is friday ?

1. Suspended sentence for 'sexual assault': Man avoids jail for climbing into his elderly landlady’s bed at night and sexually assaulting her

24 yr old from Mongolia was only in the country for a few weeks and went drinking for the first time.  Came home and 'sexually assaulted' his elderly landlady who had given him a room out of sympathy.

2. 7 years for rape:  Man who raped housemate in 'terrifying ordeal' jailed for seven years

Young woman was 2 weeks in the country, with no English, and got a room in the rapist's flat.  Presumably they were from the same country.  After a few days, the man dropped his trousers and asked for a happy ending.  She obviously said no and locked herself in her room for 2 days.  Eventually she came out and the guy raped her.
