I tink ther is an argument for dashcams John that record audio and location .........if yur not up to bad deeds .....they cud save yur  freedom , reputation and life ......

380 I paid less than that for a Hiace Van .Then Dashcams can get you shot around where I work .Lads would not like you to appear in court to confirm that this picture was taken by you .I know somebody handed over dashcam and was summonsed to court to confirm that it was his video .

But fer those who followed this case in detail the FACTS are that 2 very intoxicated young women customers claimed rape which the taxi driver denied while 3 other women told the court they had consentual sex with the same man in similar circumstances in his taxi.

Those are the bare FACTS of this case which in my mind adds up to reasonable doubt and I thought he would get away with it as most of the other evidence was circumstantial.

The FACT of what has happened here is that a taxi driver has been imprisoned and more or less lost all on the word of 2 heavily intoxicated young women which he denied.

Personally I think the man is a sexual predator but I don't think that was fully proven in the court. As many have stated on here fer years "Innocent until proven Guilty" most especially in the Ian Bailey case.

I don't think the prosecution proved their case beyound reasonable doubt, BUT I'M GLAD THEY GOT HIM !

Yes and no .Consent both were under the influence of drink so communicated on equal terms unlike a sober taxi driver and an inebriated passenger .But yes if a lad had a lot of gargle on him and some girl forced him into bed he would be a victim of sexual assault by the  woman if she was sober .

Ken its like this if she wakes up and dosent remember your name you are guilty of something unless she dosent want to remember your name .We Taxi drivers have a duty of care and are trusted a million taxi trips a year and a handfull of incidents .More Barmen getting tail from drunks than taxi drivers but thats never mentioned .This lad sounds like a Preditor went hunting for vunerable girls .Thing about taxi drivers is people have a love hate relationship with us Were great when they are in a taxi and Cunts while they wait .Not many other jobs where you deal with the public that has such Schitsofrenic customers
