« on: July 02, 2024, 05:36:50 pm »
How many gold medals will Ireland win under 3 or over .Boxers must have a chance Harrington a bit old so dont fancy her .Idiot who jumped around done his ankle last time Looks usefull .Our runners are not top class .The two lads from Cork in the boat are not getting any younger but are top drawer .Our showjumpers must have chances .Ireland Gold Medals Over/Under
Under (+2.5)

Over (+2.5) I would go under 3 Golds .

I think Rhasidat Adeleke (21) will get a medal in the womens 400m, possibly Silver but hopefully Gold, she won't let the likes of the Polish wan out-smart her again, her main opponent will be Marileidy Paulino (28) from the Dominion republic.

I don't think the womens 4 x 400m relay team or mixed relay team is strong enough to get a medal above Bronze, apart from Adeleke and Sharlene Mawdsley the rest are poor.

The last Olympic Gold medal we won on the track was by Ronnie Delany in 1956 !!

Looked through out olympians A good few medal chances but GOLDS ?the rowers from Cork,The Golfers ?Gymnast from the North on the horse in the individual .Outside chance in the showjumping ,The idiot boxer .The lad who won Bronze last time then sprained his ankle jumping around like a feuking teenager getting 6 D+s in his Intercert .He has something to prove and already beat a Cuban to qualify .Girl Boxers will do OK but dont think Golds .Think we might get 1 gold possibly 2 .

I think Golf is probably our best hope .Rowers are 4 years older ,Harrington 4 years older .Strange that nobody better than you does not appear as you get older .The Lad from the North on the Horse in Gymnastics must have a good chance .Luck of the Draw in Boxing .We are sending a lot of no hopers 3 or 4 medals in total would be great result .

That's no big surprise, John m (Thee greatest Clock-stopper of all time) went fer under 2.5 Golds.

....  Over (+2.5) I would go under 3 Golds .

And we still have a few more decent Gold chances to go with Harrington and Adeleke, Etc to come.

Irish women excel at battering each other, surely some gold medals to come in that discipline?
