I'm (mostly) a day driver doing very few app jobs.This set of proposals does f-all for me.

The new proposed tarrif doesen't do a lot fer the day drivers, I think the NTA just want the press and the nua taxi coalition crowd off their backs, and their doing that by weighting the new increase heavily in favour of the night drivers, which I think will actually work and more drivers will work the soon to be very lucrative weekend tarrif 3 rate.

Assuming the increase to PUC has been approved by NTA adviser, Free Now, and remains as per the draft, I think my next lengthy moan will be the irrational supremacy of Stephen over Patrick. Obviously, when one considers the names alone it's easy to conclude that the former exudes a touch of class that the latter unequivocally lacks. However, Paddy's Day is the busiest day of the year so, IMO, should also be subject to Rate 3.

How much extra might a night driver make?30 to 50 squid?With all the card payments they'd be lucky to get an extra score a shift after tax.
