That's awful about the ID4...sounds like he bought a lemon.

About service costs and intervals I am of the belief that BYD put extra intervals in on some of the service stuff just to make themselves look attractive to MSL as an ongoing money maker. As far as I know Teslas don't require any maintenance during the first 100k.There's nothing special about Teslas as far as I know.

I could probably drive mine on the same fluids for 200k but the gamble is too big and there are no BYDs in the scrappers.

I'll likely just do the work myself when the time comes but with bigger mileage intervals.

Sounds dodgy.  Seems to me that the ID4 battery is only the end result of whatever is happening further inside the car.  I'd be rejecting the car or going legal until somebody knowledgeable looked at the EV.

You never see the local Spar or publican apologise when they put up their prices so why should we?  We didn't pick the increase out of thin air, some NTA committee reviewed the thing and gave us the percentage.  It's totally legit and justified.

Drunk people are not rational most of the time and like a fight.

Also most of the time they have got what they want before they have to pay, unlike the shop.

I remember being called a greedy cunt one new years eve night, the fare was 12 euro, it was usually 10 euro.
