Bit harsh, Keith. I'm pretty lazy myself but I have done long hours back when I wore a younger man's clothes - Anthony Kally's to be precise. That doesn't mean I have any objection to anyone else working hard, it's just not for me anymore. Even when I try I can't do it... I've yet to work one single hour of Ken's Golden 8 despite all the good intentions... maybe this week! I'd say the erm's pretty much of a similar mindset. As I said on another thread we're a diverse lot with diverse interests. IIRC the erm didn't actually test drive the MG5, he was just a back seat passenger... assuming that was the time I went with my brother to test drive both of the MGs on offer at the time. We just picked the erm up as the dealer was in his neighbourhood and wasn't particularly bothered how long we kept each car for, within reason. Anywaysanall, I think what the erm disliked was the sloping body reducing access to the back seats. Sure he won't be sitting in the back when he's driving!

If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Has the Erm addressed his sloping body yet?

Blah blah blah, isn’t this the same shit we’ve being listening to from the same person for the last 10 years, the same guy who test drove an mg5, and slated it? Then bought one… if your too lazy to make a decent living from a taxi, don’t bother trying to drag everyone else down with you, you are the epitome of the crab in the bucket, “if I can’t get out, I’ll drag you all back in too”…
Just stay as you are, drinking in the flats talking shit with imaginary people earning minimum wage and leave those with aspirations or ambitions alone to succeed..
Just to confirm from me Belker/Ken that it was not me that sent the above post, granted it was sent from my secondary 'Read only' anonymous account on here but it was not me that posted the above. Apologies to John m from me fer allowing my secondary account to be compromised. I have since changed the password on the 'Keith' account so hopefully there will be no reoccurrence.

Ah Keith how sad you get annoyed .I wont ever give out advice to anybody .I advised that lads should apply for the grant before it ended just to have it in their back pocket BAD ME .I advised lads during covid how to get tax free extended payments BAD ME .I informed lads how to get FREE training like ADR driving licences worth about 1200 if you had to pay for it .Or free driving instructor courses or even third Level education FOR FREE .I advised lads how and when to apply for a Doctor Only Medcal card which allows you free Doctor visits again BAD Me .

I never post my earnings I never encourage anybody to compete against me for fares by posting my earnings .I did not reply as I was busy .My passion is Politicas and I was doing my Democratic Duty by Counting Votes in the recent Senate elections .Difference between me and you KEITH is I dont live in a vacuum based on how many fares I make .I try to help those who need help not snipe from behing a Non De Plume .Anyhoo Good luck and Good Bye .

I could do with a bit of motivation myself, Octy. It's impossible to justify changing my motor for the hours I currently work. I'd love to get to averaging 30 hours/week. Maybe a complete change of strategy is the answer.... I've been toying with the idea of switching to day work with an early morning (pre 07:00) start. Maybe next week!
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

One idea RC could be to borrow the cash now (if you can)but don't change the vehicle until you're 100% certain you want to commit and the motivation of having to pay it off before the economy takes a crap may get ya out doing the extra hours needed.

I did change earlier than needed for exactly this reason. In the end I paid it off relatively fast. Now I'm back to struggling to find motivation agaim. But it's done now.

Worst case scenario you have extra money and decide you don't want to stay in the game or you may just keep getting extended on the diesel.
