they're there they're just worn off.
Surprised that it can pass suitability with the county stickers in that condition.

But then again it was the NTA who supplied the not-fit-fer-purpose County stickers.

They aren't the easiest to get on.
There easy enough to get on if you only have the one, unless your a Doob whom doesent understand 'Back to Front' !

Wait till you try to get them off ??
Mine were in bad condition a few years back and I got new ones, it took a full 30 minutes + of scraping using White spirt and WD 40 to get about 95% of the old front one off, I didn't bother with the back one !

Great vans if ya look after them, I’ll never drive a saloon plate again as the cost to put a saloon car on the road is extortion. Plan is to keep it licensed until it 14.5 years old and replace it with a 9.5 year old van that I can drive until it’s 15yo.

Do you have to buy a <3yo van for a new WAV plate?
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Oh I know, I have taken old stickers off a few times.

The area stickers are a great idea though.

The other plate is due to expire next month. Did you get an extension, or is the Da retiring?

131, 3 year extension, off the road April ‘26, he’ll be nearing 71 then, I’d imagine he’s gonna keep going.

@RC, three year car is only needed when bequeathing a saloonplate to the new owner, for a new wav plate it’s under 6 years of newer. I can replace my existing car under my plate with a 9.5 year old wav and drive it until it’s 15th birthday.

Good news. Once the Chrysler keeps going there's no point, financially, in upgrading.
