In short that means that FN plan to introduce NO €3 PUC jobs called 'Taxi Saver' jobs on a seemingly Pilot basis in Dublin during quiet times.

If Dublin Taxi drivers accept and cover these newly proposed FN 'Taxi Saver' jobs, then they will become the new normal and they will be on the go 24/7 everywhere in Éire.

Fer once we need to show a United Front and Boycott ALL FN 'Taxi Saver' jobs.

I unplugged from the charger on Saturday night @ 03.05. The first place I went to was McGowan's, and there was a line of empty taxis outside.

There were a few app jobs from punters standing outside but I ignored them, preferring a punter to walk the several feet to a free cab.

Remember the 3 euro is the difference on a lot of shortish jobs between making the job worthwhile or not,you are legally entitled to it.

It was no PUC back when Hail0 launched and yisser were all delighted and excited at the prospect of putting all the Irish dispatch firms out of business. What's changed?

Business isn't that bad yet RC..... to warrant heavy discounts.Things may have slowed for some drivers and Freenow may be noticing a disproportionate decrease in their work volume.

I'm not trying to be an Uber spokesperson but they're still giving out discounts and they are paying for adverts on Buses and in train stations and in the airport.

When/if the work dries up completely and we're struggling to get a tenner and hour discounts will be much more palatable.I worked a few hours today and my hourly was not far off what some night drivers boast about.When things were proper shit there was a lot of hours for very little money....that's when the desperation kicks in.

Still, it'd be hard to refuse a €50+ VAT free job up to Dublin for the sake of €3... Sure there's immigrants queuing for minutes on end to pay that in parking fees at DAP!
