Yes Octy I agree but it's not something that would fail though.Your brakes might get spongy but the car still stops.You'd need to be rally driving or something to warrant changing the fluid every 30k IMO.

I wonder how many vehicles aren't getting maintained according to the manufacturers recommendations since the cost of garage labour has gone through the roof.

I'm reading people online complaining that a coolant change on a Hyundai ionic electric is €600.A weeks wages for a fluid change from a main dealer.They're absolutely taking the piss.

Yes ... incredible.... them new electrics wud of put the maintenance departments out of business if they didn't find a way to make up the deficit... I left me car in for a service cause they ( Toyota) informed me if I didn't get the scheduled battery check ide lose the warranty on the electric battery ..... funny ting is wen I baut it they said it was only for 100k cause it was a taxi .... so I'm guessing
Ther spoofin an the small print wud be produced if the battery  ting needed replacing ....
In fairness I've spent fuk all in maintenance  or repairs over the yers apart from a €450  wiper motor thus far

Ah yeah Octy that's fine for peace of mind.As long as they're not overcharging for the service the battery check is just an insurance policy.I posted this before and you know already they cannot do anything to the battery by plugging anything in.If it's bolloxed it's bolloxed no battery check will fix it.

Yea its a con alrite  ... anyway  if it  goes on fire or antin  an burns  me customers to death .. I'll be suin Toyota for  200 million in emotional stress plus shrink expenses cause they said it was OK  lol

I used to drink it quite regularly. Mrs. Bullet said "Is that not addictive?" I said "I can stop anytime I want"!! 8)
