Remember the recent email about the FN-Driver meeting?  Was anything mentioned about the new priority scheme to be launched within weeks of that meeting?   rofl

I read all those FN emails.

I didn't understand the contradiction of these 2 quotes;

"HOW IS MY PRIORITY SCORE CALCULATED?
Your score is based on:
Acceptance rate
Cancellation rate
Ratings" .......

"DO CANCELLATIONS IMPACT MY STATUS?
Don’t worry — cancellations (yours or a passenger’s) won’t affect your status."

I have this FN saver fleet thing in my notifications the last few days. Asking me to opt in or out of it. No idea what it is.

Basically you agree to NOT charge the €3 PUC during off-peak hours.  But as night follows day, FN will stretch that to all day & night.

I've done the math, Ken. Taking Free Now's market research the breakeven fare is c.€5 for Free Now and c.€20 for drivers... I can't remember the precise figures but I previously posted them showing my workings.

Hence I've no problem taking Taxi Save fares of €25+. Given that Free Now has taken to significantly overestimating fares on the job offer cards I'll accept those estimated at €30+.

The new additional definition of priority is a real thing. I assumed from the start date that it was an April Fools joke.

Seriously, there's now two distinct progress bars for two of the various definitions of priority on the home screen of the driver app. Given that, as a non-priority driver, under the original and best definition of priority I still got "priority" job offers I'm fucked if I have a fucking clue what the new additional definition is supposed to achieve other than having allegedly grown men chasing more gold stars!

FN used to pay real cash bonuses if you did X jobs in Y hours.  Now you get a virtual 'well done' on the app and the 'opportunity' to do more discounted work for more hours just to make a living.  Points don't make prizes (or put food on the table).  Fukk That!

My priority points are going backwards! I kid you not... I was 60% of the way to priority and I'm now 55%... and I still get Priority Taxi job offers... it's all a loada bollix!
