My priority points are going backwards! I kid you not... I was 60% of the way to priority and I'm now 55%... and I still get Priority Taxi job offers... it's all a loada bollix!
Most unusual of you to allow yourself to be ignorant about anything involving any kind of tech, tap a few of the Priority explained buttons on the app and it will all be explained to you very simply.

.... Seriously, there's now two distinct progress bars for two of the various definitions of priority on the home screen of the driver app. Given that, as a non-priority driver, under the original and best definition of priority I still got "priority" job offers I'm fucked if I have a fucking clue what the new additional definition is supposed to achieve other than having allegedly grown men chasing more gold stars!

As fer why you still get Priority offers while your not a Priority driver has been explaind to you multiple times before;
.....  Notably, you get these "Priority Taxi" offers regardless of whether you hold Priority status or not.
Your being difficult with this issue Stephen.
I have already explained in detail the difference between 'Priority Taxi' and 'Priority jobs'.

This may be confusing but Priority on FN has 2 different meanings.

Meaning 1;
Priority Taxi status fer drivers can be aquired by doing a certain number of jobs at peak-hours or by doing an emergency pre-book job that is due in less than 30 minutes time. Driver Priority status lasts fer the remainder of that day and the next 24 hours, except on Fri or Sat when it last's fer the whole weekend till midnight Monday. The number of jobs required fer Priority status and the peak-hour times change in different cities.

Meaning 2;
Priority jobs which are offered to customers seemingly steps customer requests up the FN ladder and the job is 'sometimes' offered out to drivers and marked as Priority with a Bobo attached, the customer then gets an additional charge on their fare regardless of what if any Bobo the driver was offered.

Obviousely 'Meaning 1' has changed somewhat since the new Priority system was introduced on April 1st.

I'm sure they all mean something, Ken... but I'm not going to insult my intelligence by looking for any relevant definitions. I've no intention of letting gold stars influence my working methodologies, I started big school over half a century ago!

Anywaysanall.. I'm down to 40% (40/100) by one metric and 33% (1/3) by the other intermittently displayed metric. If they stop offering me Priority Taxi jobs, so be it. I assume drivers with priority status get a bigger cut of the extortionate "premium services" fees they attach to such orders? In general I only see €2 or €4 or (very rarely) €7 bonuses on the offer screen... which I assume is about 10% of what they charge the client?

Somewhat related but I got a FN email saying embassadors earn twice as much as regular driver-partners.  There was an asterisk advising, "*Ireland data based on earnnings per active drivers, gathered during the full 2024 year. Data might be different depending on performance".  I guess embassadors get extra letters in their words as well!

I wonder if they really did compare like-for-like drivers (same hours etc) to get their 2X number?  But I guess it's also true the more hours you work, they more money you'll make ('depending on preformance').
Getting old is compulsory whilst growing up is voluntary.

Down from 60% more according to the last relevant junk mail I read... perhaps impacted by the introduction of Taxi Save jobs?

How accurately do you think they ascertain earnings from other dispatch firms?

This morning, for example, in a 92 minute period I got €12 from Free Now and €82 from Uber inc. €25 bonus.

Had a decent day yesterday. €215 Uber, €98 Free Now. If I had stickers would my takings double to €626 or reduce by more than 50% to €196, double the Free Now portion?

Given that stickered up Ken gets significantly less per Golden Eight hour than the former would produce on a (passive) day shift, I suspect the latter i.e. the stickers would have cost me the guts of a ton. I don't think they've made any attempt to take earnings from other rideshare platforms into account when devising these wildly misleading statistics.

Do you still count your cash takings out in public?

I got less than half that today (for anyone looking in thinking we're all coining it)  ----minimum wage and paying for the privilege.

Could it be that some are promoting driving for a living? What do I need, why a driving licence of course. Where do I start to acquire such a document? Why driving lessons of course.
