Had a Lad in the car Saturday from Cricket Ireland .He was saying Irish Soccer is fucked not enough public pitches and no street football .But he also said a Lot of American universities are scouting Irish kids .Who are now taller ,faster and Lighter than our generation .He said just look at Irish Swimming or athletics all the top Athletes are with American Universities .He then asked I question I often asked the GATHLETIC Ass GAA .What Athletics do the GAA promote ?

He named 2 young Golfers playing in Us Universities says they are the real deal .I did not take much notice of the names .We both agreed that Rory Mc would of been a better Golfer if he went to University in USA .It would of thought him how to fight to win unlike staying in Ireland where he was the outstanding young talent same with Ronan Rafferty British and Irish Champion on loads of Occasions but in the real world of Comparative Golf crashed and Burned .

His record leading and losing on the final day is one of the worst around .He is a bottler not a battler ,he never had to battle as a youth player he was so far ahead of the field .Ronan Rafferty had a better Amateur record than Rory but failed in the Big Leagues .Everybody knows of some kid went to England to play ball from a schoolboy team where he was outstanding only to return home to work in a factory .Huge amount of talented kids but its more mental now .

But interesting that the Irish Kids are now taller healthier I suppose better nurturing A Slice of Bread and butter with a sprinkle of Sugar or a Banana Sandwitch no longer constitutes Lunch .
