Almost €185,000 of counterfeit currency seized by gardaí

Gardaí in Dublin seized almost €185,000 in suspected counterfeit €50 notes following an operation on Friday.  This followed a search warrant at a property in Dublin 8 as part of ongoing investigations targeting organised criminal networks.  During the course of the search operation, 3,695 €50 notes with a potential financial value of €184,750 were seized by gardaí.

No mention of equipment being seized so presumably the bad guys can just print up some more?

Most of us will be working extra time in the run-up to Xmas and the feckers seem to know when we're tired and susceptible to fake 50's so be careful...
