County Colours?
« on: March 30, 2026, 12:34:49 pm »
As I'm sure many of you know there's a huge problem down in Drogheda with Dublin scum stealing all the work from their discos of a weekend night. Of course they pretend to be waiting for app jobs when the local immigrants challenge their legitimacy but surely the case for county coloured cars (i.e. Blue for Dublin) is stronger than ever?
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Your at it again, just cos you got a nua Blue car you think everybody should have one !
What about drivers (like yourself) that hold licences in multiple counties ?

The county with the largest population should determine the colour.

Remember when the Nu-gents were given MH plates because that was closest to Mosney?

Then they worked above in Dublin because that's where the moolah was.

We complained, so...

The Regulator gave them Dublin plates too. Ya couldn't write it...

That's when the drawda men were men. They made it clear in no uncertain terms that warning shots behind the left ear were on the cards if the migrants weren't moved off their ranks.

NTA then decided that all Loud/Mead licence holders could have Dublin licences because many drivers from north county Dublin were given Loud/Mead licences on account of their local Garda barracks being in the Loud/Mead Garda district back then. Dates back to when it didn't matter what county your driving licence was issued in as plates were issued by local authorities and the Dublin taximeter area was confined to the area within a 10 mile radius of the GPO.

15 miles. It scratched the WW/D border between Shankill and Bray.

10 miles originally, then extended to 15 miles, then extended nationwide as a maximum permissible charge.

I think Mrs. Catcher was trying to appeal to my OCD in making me pay an extra 7 ton for a blue car... she adopted that condescending tone in suggesting that my car is blue so I drive a blue car... I let her think she won but the new one is a totally different shade of blue!

More than ever in their entire history... IIRC that slum landlord that made his money preying on the homeless was double jobbing as their manager.

Im thinking now that you bought a Blue Car that Sheik Yer Money who races in Blue is going to win the Guinneas .And even Aiden O Brien knows thats why he Pretended to withdraw his horses by making a computer entry mistake .I recon the Kerry man told him about the Bus Conspiricy and Aido probably heard that you bought Blue Car so unless his ponies are running in Blue they are not running .The Good thing beaten on Saturday didnt run in Magners Blue he ran in the Stripey vest and Gastaad also runs in the Stripey vest .You seeing the Rodent Blue Car 2000 Guinnees conspiricy .Dont say I didnt warn ya .

Would it not be a tad unfair that most county drivers would have to shell out an extra 700 or 800 Euro fer specific colours while Kildare (the Lilywhites) get the white paint fer free ?

They might already own cars that aren't white. The vast majority of licensed taxis are very old.
