Good point.  You also talked about agri contractors & truck drivers on fixed price contracts and now they're crying.  The fukked up negotiating their contracts and are now blaming the Govt.  Airplanes etc around the world are having no qualms about adding surcharges etc to keep their profit up.  DPD just cancelled all devliveries today - full stop, tough luck - and it's probably all ok in the small print.

These Lads go buy a Combine Harvester .To finance it they have two options put the Farm up to Guarentee the 400k loan or put up signed Contracts .They probably signed four year fixed contracts with local farmers to reap and sow plow and Harvest .Using those Signed Contracts as Collateral against the Loan .The Increase in Fuel puts them in Negative Equity and its now costing them money .Thats the Issue same applies to the Hauliers most of them Farmers doing a Bit of Trucking ot Taxi on the side as the cows get fat or the Corn Grows . Wet winter no Silage to be made Planting done .Let me educate the Uneducated .National Hunt Racing was the Passtime of the Farmers .Why do you think Cheltenham,Fairyhouse,Liverpool ,Punchestown all take place at this time of year .Its the Farmers Down Time most of the work is done until harvesting .Same reason there is little National Hunt racing during the Summer .These cunts would not protest during Harvest or Sowing Season .
