My cousin has removed all TAT advertising from his vehicle in protest that he strongly believes that work is being stitched up, a sentiment felt by a lot of other drivers in an online social media platform.

Thats tap a taxi  members wattsapp ... only admin can post on it .... I joined the Facebook page after this thread was started and cant see anyone giving out about anything ...

The cuz tore off all his TAT decals having been convinced work was being stitched up.

It may be that he was impetuous, I don't know. But having drank the Kool Aid and joining TAT, posting up pictures of the vehicle and clothing branded materials, it appeared to be a quick turnaround to justifying his obvious dissatisfaction.

As Jack says "There'll always be malcontents".

TBH, €300 or so investment isn't that much in the grand scheme of things.

Its flyin jack ... im payin 6-7% commission a week  for the past month .... tho ide rather call it an investment...... a nite driver who isnt a lazy cnut like meself  cud easily  half that commission / investment rate .... . plus im takin " all the cream"  off the licky lacky arse lickers who are volunteerin to pay 25% to fleecenow  an the uber gobshites  dancing to ubers tune  an workin for peanuts ... its a no brainer

Maybe he means the €120 (or €30/week) = ~6% of his takings?  So he's hinting he's making ~€500/week off TaT?  And the harder you work, the smaller the €30/week becomes as a percentage of your takings?

Then add in the cost of using A card machine on top of that Comission add at least another 1% .
