They offered to pay for a rental taxi as a courtesy car so I could have continued working if I wanted to or needed to. The free service plan and extended warranty works for me. I had budgeted for more time off the road to change the car anyway so it's not a big deal to me financially. I don't have a huge profit requirement at this stage of life so, as I said, being off the road is no big deal for me. I did factor that in to deciding to go EV as I was well aware of men waiting months for repairs and such like. The biggest concern I'd have is the yoke breaking down and missing one of it's next two LRAs resulting in NTAs heavies banging down my door in pursuit of their 17.5 large... all I can do to mitigate that potential is start the renewal process as early as regulation permits, I guess. I certainly wouldn't recommend an EV to a younger man with a big mortgage and Childers to feed and educate.
