Nope, I had the money saved for a 5yr old Priusssss but the EV grant came along.  And the Octy died in her sleep on my driveway the night before the scrappage lorry turned up.  I guess she couldn't bear to live without me  :P

Barely run in @ 500k.

I guess a 5yo converted cargo vehicle costs a lot more than a 5yo Prius... and the meter runs at the same rate in the 28yo yolks!

One would imagine anyone replacing a WAT would want the relevant grant and might get cheesed off if they don't have sufficient resources/contacts to make the necessary bribes.

Most people might buy a new shirt for Xmas, replace the TV every 5 yrs and maybe paint the house every 10 yrs.  Heck, even divorce is a thing now.  Climbing into the same cabin every day for 28 yrs...  Definition of masochism if you ask me!
