My 5yr licence will expire in Jan,what's the lead time for renewal?

Took me 7 weeks .Ring them up pay them 250 they send you back a number take that along with photos and Id to Santry .

They say 12 weeks but I got mine after 6 weeks

Do you still need to print off a copy of your Tax Clearance cert to accompany all other paperwork/photos?

Can't remember what i did 5 minutes ago let alone 5 yrs ago!!

It's an ecert now, Hal. You get a number to quote to sgs.

I think they're still a bit old school when it comes to the Garda bit who are still responsible for it's approval,NTA just issue it thereafter.
I will check it out on the NTA website...very informative i hear!!

Lodged all my paperwork,photos in the PSV office in Drogheda Garda stn this morning,they don't hand out the renewal form anymore,ye have to fill it in at the desk,she said i'd probably have it in Nov,thank fuk i didn't have to do it in Dublin.
