I was gavin an oul read through the eSPSV forms.....it seems that after you receive grant approval you have to buy the car,sticker it up and pass the suitability prior to them depositing the funds in your nominated bank account.

That's fair enough but I don't think there's a limit on the number of grants you can receive. I know it was initially limited to one man one plate but the MPOs gave out and that limit was removed. There may be an upper limit in €s/year imposed by the EC?

There’s no limit to how many grants ya can revive, although the potential rentee of the vehicle has to complete disability awareness training to comply with terms of the grant and licence.

I got €2500 off the price of my wanked out french panel van as it was 5.5 years old at the time of licensing.

Think its different this time around.

The normal non electric/hybrid WAV grant is only available to existing licence holders, both driver and vehicle.

The electric is restricted to ten per person or company.

It was the normal WAV grant I was referring to, UW. That was initially a one man one plate deal but was soon extended to MPOs... subject to the 10 grants per year limit which, if memory serves, is to comply with EU regulation. I'd say the electric one will go the same way if/when (prospective) fleet operators weigh in.

Reckon the WAV21 grant scheme had a lot to do with the higher number. I was one of them.

One of the lads at suitability inspection said they are lucky to have a few inspections each day. They haven't see a rush back yet.

Must have been bored cos two of them did the inspection on my yoke.

Nope  all friendly and chatty so it was probably longer than they usually take.
