Cyclists have a tendency to overtake cars travelling at 30kph.

The speed limit should be enforced. It's not only cyclists racing around the city, take a drive down O'Connell Street some evening and you will witness millions, no more than that, thousands of taxis overtake you if you observe the limit. Enforcement is a joke. In this technological age there should be speed cameras every 350 metres on every single road in the State.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

I love turning down gardiner street late at night and getting all the green lights downhill to the customs house.
gives me enormous pleasure. can't take it sometimes.
