Hutch has nine previous convictions, including three for theft. He has no previous convictions for firearm offences.

Sure, he's only been caught 9 times before.  There's still hope!

Wait 'till someone gets caught 101 times - then maybe jail is a possibility...

His co-accused was Christopher Coakley...

Quote
Coakley of Belvedere Place, Dublin 1 pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to robbery, possession of an imitation firearm and criminal damage at Spar on June 11th last.

He also admitted separate offences of
- assaulting Garda Rory Heffernan and Garda Mark Ronan,
- threatening to kill Anne Walsh and
- threatening to damage Ms Walsh’s property at St Michan’s House, Greek Street on May 15th last.
- He was sentenced to two and a half years and three and a half years respectively for those crimes.
- They are to run concurrent to each other and to the six year term for the robbery.
- Coakley is currently serving a sentence for hi-jacking and is due for release in July 2017.

He has a total of 94 previous convictions including
- road traffic,
- theft,
- drug,
- assault,
- throwing a missile and
- public order offences.

All those bad things and he gets concurrent sentences  rofl

poor stephen clinch from love hate should feel very hard done.
did the exact same thing but his 4 years were'nt suspended.
should have told the judge he was a junkie and a member of a notorious crime family.

To be fair, he's made great strides in treating his drug addiction.

Sad for all concerned...all concerned. Cops in freefall except when it comes to tearing up and down Ballybough Rd when I'm outside The Ref Pub before a match so all the culchies can see them "guarding the peace".
